St. John Neumann Catholic School was first accredied in 1988 by the Florida Catholic Conference, the accrediting agency for the Catholic schools in Florida. In order for a school to be accredited it must meet very rigorous standards in curriculum, physical facilities, and professional staff credentials. Every seven years a new cycle begins, thus assuring parents and other constituents that the school mantains those standards and is constantly striving to improve. SJNCS was reaccredited in 1996, in 2003 and in 2010.
